火災初中英語作文 篇1
There was a big fire in one office building in our neighborhood at about nine4 oclock last night. Many firemen and fire engines came. In the beginning, we saw flames with thick black smoke ing out from the sixth floor;
and we also heard the explosion of the gas tank mixed with the noisy sounds from shattering windows.
Soon the fire spread one by one to the floors above, and finally reach the top floor. Some aluminum window frames and some brick walls meted and collapsed from the heat. Many people like myself stood outside on the streets watching the fire in horror as we heard the sirens and gas explosions.
Luckily there was no one in that office building when the fire broke out. The fire-men were unable to control the fire until the top floor was burned out;
it took about one and a half hours for the firemen to put out the big fire. The next morning newspapers carried the story and pictures of the fire.

火災初中英語作文 篇5
One night, when I was about to go to sleep, I suddenly heard an explosion of bomb. I watched out from the window and saw that heavy smog rise from a factory near my home.
Then flames leap out. My father realized that it was an explosion and then caused a fire. He called 119 and 120 immediately.
At the same time, my neighborhoods looked out from balconies and windows. They made phone calls, telling others what happened, or discussed with others. After a while, several fire engines and ambulances arrived.
They immediately starting to put out the fire and rescue the trapped people. About half an hour later, the fire was put out, two people injured and no people died. It was lucky.
However, it reminds us that we should focus on preventing fire carefully in daily life. A slightest mistake may cause serious consequences.

火災初中英語作文 篇7
People are alarmed by the succession of campus fires in recent years. In each of these accidents, heavy casualties were reported – houses were burned down, students lost their lives, and properties were damaged.
Faced with such a chilling fact, people keep asking, “What on earth results in these repeated tragedies?”
A brief survey of them reveals that human factors still prove to be the leading causes.
For example, three of these fires were caused by the students’ use of electric water-heaters.
As students often leave the heaters unattended, the risks are rather high should the water in the bottle boil dry while no one is around to turn off the power.
In other cases, fires were also caused by stoves, candles, cigarette butts, etc.
Since most of these disasters could have been prevented if proper precautions had been taken, students should be better educated on the importance and measures of fire control.
The following three reminders are of particular importance for us students: First, learn how to use a fire extinguisher. Second, double-check candles, heaters, stoves and other electric appliances, and make sure there are no open flames before leaving rooms.
Lastly, do not smoke in the dorm.
火災初中英語作文 篇8
When you are caught in a fire, don’t be nervous. If there is thick smoke surrounding you, you should try your best to lower your body and at the same time use a wet towel to cover your mouth and nose.
Don’t jump from a high building. You can fasten ropes or sheets to some firm things and slide down the ropes or sheets. Don’t be unwilling to leave your money behind. You should run away from the fire as quickly as you can. After all, life is more important than money. Once you get out of the fire, don’t return to it again.
火災初中英語作文 篇9
If there is a fire going on in the building, there are some rules that must be followed. Firstly, find the exit as quickly as possible.Touch the door of your room to make sure if it is hot or not. If it si hot, don't open it,
find other ways to escape. Secondly, put wet towels along the bottom of the door to stop the smoke and fire coming in. Thirdly, phone the reception desk and call 119 informing them of the accident. Then open the window and wave and shout for help.
When the firemen come to help,do what they say, don't argue with them on anything. If you follow the above advice, you should survive any fire accident.

火災初中英語作文 篇11
In recent years there has been a marked growth of fire accidents in big cities of our country. Almost every day we see fire engines rushing through the streets. Fires have not only resulted in heavy economic losses but also injured and killed many people.
What are the causes of fire accidents? Most of the fires are brought about by carelessness and violation of fire safety regulations. Others are due to the poor quality of home electrical appliances. By the way, some people don't know how to use them properly. Besides, there are quite a few businesses which focus so much of their attention on profits that they tend to neglect and even ignore fire precautions.
In my opinion,in order to prevent fires we should first of all foster people's sense of fire prevention. The second thing we have to do is to increase the number of professional fire fighters,to whom regular training courses should be offered. Finally,we are to improve the existing fire engines and add more fire facilities to high—rise buildings. In this way,a reliable fire prevention system will be formed.

火災初中英語作文 篇15
If there is a fire: Be Safe 1. Get out fast! When you hear the loud beep of the smoke alarm, get out of the house. Never hide or take time to grab your belongings or pets. 2. Follow your escape plan. After all, you've been practicing! 3. Feel a door before you open it. If it is hot, there may be fire on the other side.
Try to get out another way. 4. Stay low to the floor. Since smoke rises, the safest air for breathing is down low. 5. Call 9-1-1 or the fire department. Be sure to do this after you get out of the house. Remember: Only call 9-1-1 if there is a real emergency. 6. Stay out! Once you're out, stay out. Don't go back for anything!
And remember. Stop, Drop, and Roll. If your clothing catches fire, remember to stop where you are and drop to the ground. Cover your face and mouth with your hands, and roll over and over until the flames are out.
I got most of this stuff from the United States Fire Administration's Kids Page, and some from the National Fire Protection Association Web site. You can talk to your parents or teachers about fire safety, too. I also learned a lot from some third graders who interviewed four of their local firefighters. They even sent me some great pictures. Check them out!

In the lush forest, there lived thousands of animals, in the woods happily running and danced trippingly in streams of water; the birds in the branches chirp, as if to say spring fairy tale. The world in the forest is a picture, it is a harmonious and beautiful song.

The parched earth mother gasped, her cracked body, scarred. This shocking scene, let my heart tremble: who is destroying our forests, our green home? Who is that young had beautiful mother earth, become so weak and old?
Forest fire. And the forest fire is our human beings.
In the face of the earth mother, we say sorry to you, is our reckless and irresponsible behavior, and the protection of forest consciousness, let you suffer such pain and suffering.
To protect the forest, from the little things, from my start. As our students, should be a small propagandist, to protect the forest knowledge conveyed to each person.
The forest is a natural oxygen bar, let us in the four seasons of life, to enjoy life is beautiful; forest can let the dust storms, tsunamis and other natural disasters prohibitive. Imagine, if there is no forest, we humans will not exist.
Earth mother, I want to let you always put on green clothes. Let the forest fire become history, let the human and forest depend on, let the forest and human harmonious coexistence.
