河西地區(qū)是唐王朝十分重要的邊防要地,故唐代在河西地區(qū)設(shè)置了大量的軍事防御機(jī)構(gòu),但歷代傳世文獻(xiàn)對(duì)一些基層的機(jī)構(gòu)多有缺失.通過(guò)敦煌吐魯番出土文獻(xiàn)對(duì)唐代在河西設(shè)置的鎮(zhèn)、守捉、戍、烽作一鉤沉補(bǔ)闕,以期能夠管窺更或是重新構(gòu)建唐代河西邊防體系.
