  Step 1 lead in

  T: Hello! Boys and girls. Look at this girl! Who is it?

  S1: Is it your daughter?

  T: Yes, you are so clever. She studies in Nanchang. What does she want to be? Guess!

  S2: Does she want to be a teacher?

  T: No, she doesn’t.

  S3: Does she want to be a doctor?

  T: No, she doesn’t. Look! She wants to be an astronaut. (板書新單詞)

  【設計意圖與反思】利用女兒的圖片,讓學生猜測她未來職業(yè),打開了學生思維閘門,很自然地復習了上一單元有關職業(yè)的單詞,又引出了新課要學的單詞astronaut,為后面進一步導入單詞和話題做好準備。同時,談論教師女兒的未來職業(yè),更能調(diào)動學生學習興趣,拉近師生距離。

  Step 2 Presentation

  T: Where will she live? She will live in a space station. (出示圖片,板書新單詞)How will she get to the space? She will take a rocket.(出示圖片,板書新單詞) Where will she live? She will live in an apartment.(出示圖片,板書新單詞)

  T:  Can you name more words of jobs, transportation, and places to live? Work in groups,write as many words as you can. I’ll give only one minute. (1分鐘后,展示兩組學生寫的單詞,學生完成1a and 1b)

  T: Now I’d like you to predict your life in the future. You may predict like this:

  I will be a(n)…I will go to work by… I will live in/ at…

  First please think about it for one minute.

  S5: I will be a pilot. I will go to work by plane. I will live in Shanghai.

  【設計意圖與反思】此環(huán)節(jié)借助圖片,導入了本節(jié)課的新單詞 space station,rocket和apartment,又導入了目標語言和話題,然后學生頭腦風暴說出職業(yè)、交通和居住地點的單詞,接下來用這些單詞和導入的句型預測自己的未來生活,也為聽力做好鋪墊。 各環(huán)節(jié)層層遞進,銜接緊密,過渡自然。

  Step 3 Listening

  T: Very good. Now Alexis is interviewing Joe about his life now , ten years ago and in ten years. Let’s listen and know about it. Before listening, you can guess the answer first. (播放兩遍錄音,核對答案)

  T: Now Listen each conversation again, and choose the correct answers. (每聽一段,設計兩個單選題,教學生學會聽前預測,錄音放一遍, 核對答案)

  T: OK!  Please look at 1d. Now please read the sentences and the words in the chart. You can fill in the blanks with the correct words in the box first. Then I’ll play the tape again to check your answers.( 錄音放一遍, 核對答案)

  T:Now please read the conversation after the tape. (教師播放錄音,學生跟讀)

  T: Please retell Joe’s life.( 叫三個學生分別復述Joe現(xiàn)在、十年前和十年后的生活,然后全班同學連起來一起復述)

  【設計意圖與反思】聽力環(huán)節(jié)教師注意聽力策略指導—聽前預測,另外增加了選擇題聽力練習,更好地訓練了學生聽力。復述對話環(huán)節(jié)能較好的訓練學生的口語,同時我將要學生作為課后作業(yè)寫在書面表達本上,也提高了學生的書面表達能力,有鞏固了聽力內(nèi)容,學生背誦對話將更容易。

  Step 4 Pair-work

  T: Now work in pairs and talk about Joe’s life now, 10 years ago and 10 years from now. I’ll ask some pairs to act them out.

  Step 5 Interview

  T: Now I’d like you to interview one of your friends about his or her life now, 10 years ago and in 10 years. Then I’ll ask some students to report in front of the class. I’ll give you 5 minutes. You can use these sentences to interview your friends.

  How did you go …?

  Where did you live?

  What do you do now?

  How do you go to school?

  Where do you live?

  What will you do in 10 years?

  【設計意圖與反思】通過Pair-work和Interview兩個環(huán)節(jié)學生再次鞏固了本課學的句型,提高學生英語口頭表達能力,而且這兩個環(huán)節(jié)也銜接緊密,學生學以致用。

  Step 6 Summary

  從單詞、句型上小結本節(jié)課內(nèi)容,并對學生進行思想教育Yesterday is a history.

  Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, so we call it present. 回首過去,珍惜今天,展望未來。

  Step 7 Homework

  1. Retell the conversations in 1c.

  2. Write down the report about your friend’s life now, 10 years ago and in 1o years on the exercise books.
